Research Analysts (RAs) provide services that help investors make informed decisions:
- Publishing research reports based on their activities.
- Providing independent, unbiased views on securities.
- Offering unbiased recommendations with proper disclosures.
- Providing research based on public information and observations.
- Conducting annual audits.
Grievance Redressal Mechanism
If you have a grievance, please approach the concerned Research Analyst. If unresolved within 30 days, you may lodge a complaint with SEBI.
Complaints can be filed through SEBI’s SCORES portal, which enables investors to track complaint status.

Expectations from Investors
Do’s
- Always deal with SEBI-registered Research Analysts.
- Verify the RA’s valid registration certificate & SEBI number.
- Refer to the SEBI list of registered RAs.
- Pay attention to disclosures before investing.
- Pay your RA only through banking channels & keep receipts.
- Check the research recommendation before buying securities.
- Clear doubts by asking relevant questions.
- Report any RA offering assured/guaranteed returns to SEBI.
Don’ts
- Do not provide funds directly to the RA.
- Do not fall for market rumors or misleading ads.
- Do not be attracted by discounts or gifts from RAs.
- Do not share trading/demat account credentials with the RA.
